Go Karting in La Manga There is a go kart track about 10 minutes drive from La Manga Club, on the road to Cabo de Palos.
La Manga go karting is located close to the entrance of La Manga and Cabo de Palos between the Mediterranean and the La Manga del Mar Menor. There are 3 different go karting tracks / circuits for adults, juniors and infants.
The main circuit has 12000m2 of go karting track. The closest space between tracks is of 8m the widest is of 40m.
La Manga Go Karting have been able to celebrate two championship of Spain and has held numerous regional go karting championships and the championship of Repsol racing.
Beach at Manga Club and the La Manga Del Mar Menor The La Manga del Mar Menor is surrounded by a great selection of beaches. There are 42 kilometres (26 miles) of beach around the pure, crystal waters of the Mar Menor. The maximum depth is seven metres and is warm enough to swim throughout the year evening winter time.
There are three main beach areas, each with their own characters. The Mar Menor beach is sandy and leads to the calm, very warm La Manga del Mar Menor lagoon. The Mediterranean side of La Manga strip is on the Eastern coast of the region, and has a sandy beach leading to the open sea. The final beach is on the Southerly coast. The landscape is different, the beach is still but many beaches are surrounded by rocky areas.
Two seas surround the coastline - the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean which has impressive cliffs and great beaches of endless white sand, lively ports and wild coves with crystal clear water. The La Manga area enjoys more than 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and mild temperatures, even during the winter, with a yearly average temperature of more than 18ºC. This area is known as the Costa Calida, as is the ideal place to spend some days relaxing both in winter and summer.
From the fishing town of Aguilas to the white dunes of the beach of El Mojon in San Pedro del Pinatar, stretch kilometre after kilometre of beaches and deserted coves. In addition, there are delightful picturesque fishing villages, like La Azohia or Cabo de Palos where you can lose yourself for a few days there are aslo ports like the one in Mazarron where you can spend a lively evening and enjoy its magnificent gastronomy, there are also areas of natural beauty, unique in the whole Mediterranean, at the beaches of Calblanque one of the most highly rated areas in the Mediterranean. La Manga del Mar Menor is a paradise between two seas with infinite beaches, sandy sea beds and crystalline waters, which all help to make La Manga Club one of the worlds great resorts in southern Spain and La Manga.
Water sports enthusiasts will find La Manga del mar Menor of the best places in the world for practising sailing, canoeing, swimming, water-skiing, jet skiing, windsurfing, catamaranning, kite surfing and every other type of water sport activity in its numerous clubs, ports and sailing and diving schools.
La Manga Club has its own small cove beach on the Mediterranean sea and there is also the La Manga del Mar Menor, which offers some great sandy beaches, with calm warm water, within a 10 / 15 minute drive of the Club.
The La Manga Club beach is called La Cala beach is in the Mediterrean side and has a great seafood restaurant, aptly named La Cala Restaurant which is open from the end of May until September. When the restaurant is open the courtesy bus operates to and from the beach at regular intervals around La Manga Club. This attractive small beach at La Cala is set against a stunning backdrop of cliffs and during the summer offers a full range of facilities.
Horse Riding at La Manga There are two horse riding stables close to La Manga Club. Rancho de la Fuenta is located just out side the local town of Los Belones and has a great selection of about 70 horses to suit all levels of horse riding ability.
Horse riding be booked upon arrival, please visit the horse riding stables and chat to the staff who will let you know what horse riding activities are scheduled during your holiday. This will also give you a chance to discuss your level of horse riding ability and to see and meet the horses
Usually there are beach hacks and mountain horse riding hacks available on a group basis on most days and you can also arrange private horse riding lessons. Both of the horse riding stables are located within the Calblanque National Park, which borders La Manga Club and offers some fantastic scenery and trails for horse riding. The horse riding stables will provide riding hats.
Golf at La Manga Club Golfers with a handicap certificate can enter into the three weekly golf competitions at La Manga Club. These competitions are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We recommend that golf tee times are booked in advance, however if you are flexible with your golf tee time requirements your can arrange these when you arrive at La Manga Club.
Childrens Club in La Manga There is a very extensive range of childrens activities at La Manga Club. The arranged activities are designed for children of all ages including teenagers.
For children aged 3 months to 12 years there is a Childrens Club is located next to the tennis centre. During high season, childrens Club is open 7 days a week; at all other times, the childrens club opens from Monday to Friday only. The hours are from 9.00 to 6.00 and can be booked by the hour, half day and full days.
Boredom is not an option for children at La Manga Club as the are a whole range of academy courses, for football, tennis, cricket, rugby, dance. Most of these academy courses run for 5 days (Monday to Friday) and are a great way for children to improve their sporting skills. The courses are run by experienced professionals and are ideal for children of all ages and abilities. Places at these childrens academy courses are limited so we do recommend pre booking.
Please Note the following information regarding the La Manga childrens club.
Parents are not allowed into the play area with the children.
Lunch must be provided for children staying full day.
Babies from 3 month to 1 year should have their routine written to give to the carer.
La Manga childrens club do provide a snack mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
La Manga childrens club reception is closed from 13:00 to 14:30 as children need to rest.
La Manga childrens club activity programme can alter according to the needs of the children.
La Manga childrens club do not provide nappies or wipes.
For the safety of the children La Manga childrens club can not mix age groups as each group has activities according to ability.
Full payment must be made for all reservation at the time of booking.
Sun cream should be put on before the activity session starts.
Please present the confirmation on your first visit.
There is no refund if your child does not turn up to the La Manga childrens club.
Please let the La Manga childrens club know at least a day in advance is not going to attend.
